Welcome to my website! I use this website as a common place to gather all the projects/research I make. Sometimes, I also write blog posts on topics I'm interested in.
About me
My name is Mikel (mikelma online), I received a degree in Computer
Science from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU in 2022, and
a master's degree in Computer Engineering and Artificial Intelligence the year
later from the same university. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student in the
Intelligent Systems Group.
My research interests are reinforcement learning, machine learning, and
combinatorial optimization. Although my research mainly focuses on AI,
I'm also very interested in compilers, programming languages, Linux,
Emacs and other free software. I also develop free software projects
in my free time. Besides science and tech, I love rock climbing and playing the
guitar.
